Johannes Brahms

 

The Heidelberger Frühling Festival season 2024 is dedicated to one of the most important composer personalities: Johannes Brahms.

 

From the Streichquartettfest in January to the Musikfestival in March and April and the Liedfestival in June, the audience experiences an intensive exploration of Johannes Brahms' music. One focus is on the performance of the complete chamber music and solo piano works. The perspective-rich show of works is complemented by organ and choral works, songs, and the violin concerto. A total of 76 works and groups of works by Johannes Brahms are on the programme.
