Christiane Peterlein

Christiane Peterlein studierte Musikwissenschaft, Italianistik und Literaturwissenschaft in Hamburg und Mainz mit mehreren Studienaufenthalten in Italien, u.a. am Deutsch Historischen Institut in Rom. Arbeitet heute als Redakteurin und Moderatorin für den Südwestrundfunk mit Schwerpunkt auf aktuelle Musikberichterstattung beim Magazin SWR2 Cluster und Künstlergesprächen. Sofern der Redaktionsplan es erlaubt, auch gern außerhalb des Funkhauses unterwegs als Reporterin und Moderatorin von Veranstaltungen, z.B. bei den Osterfestspielen Baden-Baden, den Donaueschinger Musiktagen, dem Streichquartettfest Heidelberg, dem Musikfest Stuttgart und Art’s Birthday Freiburg.

Eleonore Büning

Dr. Eleonore Büning has been writing about music since the late 1980s. She worked for the taz, the Weltoche, the Rheinischer Merkur as well as for the radio. In 1994 she became music editor for the weekly newspaper DIE ZEIT, and from 1997 to 2017 she has been music editor for Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. In addition, Eleonore Büning has been active since 2011 as chairman of the award for German record critics.

Malte Hemmerich

Malte Hemmerich (* 1992 in Herne) studies music journalism in Dortmund. He was a scholarship holder of the first Academy for Music Journalism in 2015. He has been supporting the Academy as a fellow since 2016 and is again training the scholarship holders in online journalism in 2019 and is in charge of the Academy blog. Since then he has always stayed in touch with the Heidelberg Spring, whether as an author for programs or as a reporter at the music conference. From the first academy, he founded the magazine niusic.de with Christopher Warmuth and Adele Jakumeit in cooperation with the Ronda publishing house. After an internship at the FAZ, Malte is now writing as a freelance author there and at the NZZ. For the Salzburg Festival, he is writing a festival story for the 2020 anniversary year. He is also the editor of the streaming platform takt1. Malte Hemmerich lives in Dortmund and works as a church musician in Herne.
