The subscription series for chamber music in Heidelberg!
Intensive concert experiences in one of the region’s most beautiful concert halls: From September through June, Heidelberger Frühling Kammermusik + subscription series brings outstanding artists to the auditorium of Heidelberg’s Old University. Over the course of nine concerts, audiences can enjoy a wide variety of chamber music ensembles in this unique venue in the heart of the Old Town.
Diversity of Ensembles
The program ranges from solo piano recitals to piano trios and string quartets, as well as guitar recitals, flute and harp, violin and piano, and wind quintets. The programme features renowned soloists, award-winning ensembles, and promising emerging artists who are currently shaping the classical music scene.
Masterpieces and Discoveries
In addition to well-known masterpieces, there are numerous musical discoveries to be made—from rarely performed works to surprising new perspectives on the familiar repertoire.
More than just a concert: + 7 minutes
Kammermusik + offers more than just concerts: The moderated on-stage discussion “+ 7 Minutes” brings the audience, the artists, and the music even closer together. Together with the evening’s performers, the discussion explores specific aspects of the programme and sheds light on fascinating background stories about the works.
