Module II 5 – 8. 2. 2026, Heidelberg
Modul III 14. – 19. 4. 2026, as part of the Musikfestival, Heidelberg
Modul IV 13. – 21. 6. 2026, as part of the Liedfestival, Heidelberg
First module in Heidelberg
The first module took place in Heidelberg at the beginning of October 2025 and offered a varied programme: The focus was on master classes with Thomas Hampson, accompanied by arriving at the Heidelberg host families and getting to know each other. The module was supplemented by a professional photo shoot and courses on relaxation techniques for artists.
The module was crowned by two public master classes, which gave the Heidelberg audience the opportunity to get to know the new class of the Liedakademie and gain an insight into the academy's work.
Second module in Heidelberg
In February 2026, the class returned to Heidelberg for a closed work phase. Over the course of several days, they devoted themselves to new lied repertoire, which was developed and deepened in masterclasses with Thomas Hampson and lied pianist Susan Manoff. In a concentrated atmosphere, the scholarship holders were able to sharpen their profile and develop their ensemble playing. The festive finale was a house concert with one of the Heidelberg host families - a special moment of making music together and exchanging ideas.
Third module as part of the Musikfestival
In the third module, new song repertoire was intensively developed in internal and public master classes. At the end, the young artists created their own re:start concert with free admission in the Marstallcafé, in which they presented a personal selection of songs.
