Musikfestival 2026 – Zurück nach vorn
For five weeks, from March 14 to April 19, 2026, the Musikfestival celebrated its return to the newly renovated Stadthalle concert hall under the motto "Back Forward".
Highlights included the opening weekend, a residency by the Chamber Orchestra O/Modernt, a USA Day and a focus on Wolfgang Rihm.
The Festivalcampus also shaped the festival with numerous concerts - including 15 re:start concerts with free admission in Heidelberg districts.
The next edition is expected to take place from March 13 to April 17, 2027, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the festival. The program will be published on 29 September.
