The Old College of Education in Heidelberg was built in 1907 in the German Renaissance style in the middle of the Neuenheim district of Heidelberg. It is home to the College of Education Heidelberg, which specializes in teaching, research and transfer in the field of education. The old building combines representativeness on the outside and practicality on the inside and, with its light-filled ballroom, offers a place that captivates with its warm atmosphere and remarkable acoustics. The Alte Pädagogische Hochschule Heidelberg is the home of the Heidelberger Frühling Streichquartettfest and also houses the festival cafeteria in the auditorium during the four days of the festival.
The Festival Cafeteria is open during the Heidelberger Frühling Streichquartettfest on Thursday evening, Friday and Saturday from 9.30 am and Sunday from 10.30 am.
