The Theater Heidelberg has existed since 1853 and is characterized by a great commitment to contemporary drama, international cooperations and guest performances as well as festivals – and this in all sections. In addition to the Alter Saal, Theater Heidelberg's stages also include the Marguerre-Saal, Zwinger 1 and 3, and other venues in the city.
