The Betriebswerk is a remarkable example of restored industrial architecture that combines listed existing buildings with experimental new constructions. The former mechanical workshops of the railroad depot from the 1920s have been transformed into an urban event venue. By 2025, the area of around 16,500 square meters will be expanded into a lively area for working and temporary living for 500 to 600 people.
