With its culinary and cultural offerings, the Saturday market on Wilhelmsplatz in Weststadt is an important meeting place for the city's population. Since 2012, this has been organized on a voluntary basis by the Heidelberg Initiative for Art, Culture and Enjoyment e.V. and offers not only a wealth of different offers at the foot of the Bonifatius Church - from culinary delights and clothing flea markets to handicrafts and live music - but above all a place to meet.
