As the only ensemble ever to win both the First and Audience Prize at the Premio Paolo Borciani International String Quartet Competition in 2024, the Fibonacci Quartet are one of Europe's leading young string quartets.
During the 2025/26 season the quartet will perform extensively across Europe, with highlights including performances at Vienna Musikverein, Berlin Philharmonie, Hamburg Elbphilharmonie, Frankfurt Alte Oper, Wigmore Hall, Munich Prinzregentheater and Philharmonie de Paris, as well as festival appearances at Edinburgh International Festival, Aldeburgh Festival, Heidelberger Frühling Festival and Bad Tölz Winners Summit.
Alongside their busy performing schedule, the quartet teach as Quartet in Residence at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, as well as at the Royal Academy of Music in their position as Nina Drucker Fellows.
Winners at the 2024 Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT) International auditions, they were also recently appointed as Grand Résident ensemble at ProQuartet in Paris for seasons 2025-2027.
Originally formed at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, they were Resident Ensemble at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofia in Madrid with Günter Pichler and at the Dutch String Quartet Academy in Amsterdam.

The Javus Quartet, founded in Salzburg in 2016, was significantly influenced in its development by Lukas Hagen (violinist Hagen Quartet). The ensemble is currently studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and the Berlin University of the Arts. The quartet regularly performs at major venues in Austria and abroad, including the Vienna Musikverein, the Konzerthaus Wien, the Konzerthaus Blaibach, the Mozarteum Foundation Salzburg and the Wigmore Hall in London. It is also a regular guest at renowned festivals such as the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and the Mozartwoche Salzburg. Their chamber music partners include Valentin Erben, Jean and Agnès Sulem, Matthias Schorn and Pauline Sachse. The Javus Quartet has received numerous awards, including the Jürgen Ponto Foundation Music Prize (2024), the Hans Gál Prize, the Musica Juventutis Prize, the Zukunftsklang Award Stuttgart (2022) and the Audience Award of the Irene Steels-Wilsing Foundation Competition as part of the Streichquartettfest (2020). The quartet is a featured artist of Jeunesse musik.erleben for the 2025/26 season. Nominated by the Wiener Konzerthaus, the Musikverein Wien and the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, the Javus Quartet was selected as an ECHO Rising Star for the 2026/2027 season.

The Kleio Quartet, winner of the First Prize and the Composition Prize at the Carl Nielsen International Chamber Music Competition 2023, was founded in 2019 at the Seiji Ozawa International Chamber Academy. Performances have taken the ensemble to venues including Wigmore Hall, Victoria Hall, Cadogan Hall, Royal Festival Hall, DR Koncerthuset and the Black Diamond in Copenhagen.

Since 2024 it has been part of the BBC New Generation Artists program (2024-26) and is a resident quartet of the String Quartet Studio at the Royal Northern College of Music. Further residencies have taken them to Aldeburgh (Britten-Pears Young Artists), the Strijkkwartet Biënnale Amsterdam and ProQuartet in Paris. Awards include the Hattori Foundation Senior Award, selection for the Tunnell Trust Music Club Awards Scheme and the Kirckman Concert Society. In 2024, it was also awarded the Walbusch Prize at the Jeunesses Musicales International Chamber Music Campus.

Recent highlights include debuts at the Edinburgh International Festival, London's Kings Place and the North Norfolk Music Festival. This was followed last season by a tour of Denmark and performances at La Schubertiade de Sceaux, the Frederiskværk Festival and the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival - with Eckart Runge and Jacques Ammon, among others. The quartet continues its studies at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf with Eckart Runge.

The Quartet Integra was founded in 2015 at the Toho Gakuen School of Music. It was a scholarship holder of the Suntory Hall Chamber Music Academy and is currently Chamber Ensemble-in-Residence at the Colburn School.

His successes include Second Prize and the Audience Prize at the 2022 ARD International Music Competition, First Prize at the 2021 Bartók Competition and First Prize, the Beethoven Prize and the Grand Prix Award at the 2019 Akiyoshidai Music Competition.

In Europe, the ensemble has performed at venues including the Alte Oper Frankfurt, Bad Tölz, Florence and Naples and has performed with artists such as Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi, Inon Barnatan, Fabio Bidini, Shigeo Neriki, Augustin Hadelich and Orion Weiss.

At the invitation of Günter Pichler, the quartet took part in the Chigiana Summer Festival in Siena with a scholarship and performed at festivals such as Crans Montana Classics, Toyama Chamber Music Festival, Kirishima International Music Festival and Takefu International Music Festival.

Committed to the contemporary repertoire, the ensemble has commissioned numerous works from Japanese composers and presented more than a dozen world premieres. The quartet is sponsored by the Matsuo Foundation.

Founded in 2007, the Schumann Quartet has long been one of the top formations of its kind. The three brothers Mark, Erik and Ken Schumann have been playing together since their earliest childhood - currently Matthew McDowell completes the quartet as violist. Decisive influences came from teachers such as Eberhard Feltz, the Alban Berg Quartet and partners such as Menahem Pressler.

Highlights of the 2025/2026 season include performances in renowned venues such as the Musikverein Vienna, the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, the Muziekgebouw Amsterdam, the Kölner Philharmonie and the Konzerthaus Dortmund. The quartet can also be heard at renowned festivals such as the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and the Mozartfest Bath. In February, the third edition of the "Expedition Mozart" project with Kit Armstrong is on the programme, with concerts in Salzburg and La Chaux-de-Fonds. The season will conclude with a chamber music tour with Lisa Batiashvili in July 2026.

To mark the 100th anniversary of radio broadcasting, an album dedicated entirely to the musical year 1923 was released in the fall of 2023. In collaboration with Bayerischer Rundfunk, a highly acclaimed recording was made with works by Alban Berg, Leoš Janáček, Paul Hindemith and Aaron Copland.

Violinist Oliver Wille is a founding member of the Kuss Quartett and has been a professor of chamber music at the Hanover University of Music since 2011. He has been the director of the Hitzacker Summer Music Days since 2016. The Presidium of the German Music Council has also appointed him Chairman of the Advisory Board and the overall jury of the German Music Competition. Together with Antje Weithaas, Wille has taken over the artistic direction of the International Joseph Joachim Violin Competition Hanover from 2021. Oliver Wille is a sought-after music mediator - he has been a regular guest at the Heidelberger Frühling Streichquartettfest since 2008.
