APOLLO5
Homeward Bound

If you have the ancient god of music as your namesake and at the same time make a link to the Apollo 5 mission of the US space program, you can reach for the stars. Musically, the five vocalists of the extremely dynamic British ensemble APOLLO5 have been doing this very successfully for 15 years, artistically closely linked to their sibling ensemble VOCES8. With their new programme "Homeward Bound", the ensemble embarks on a journey across the Atlantic and explores the many facets of the American dream on the other shore. In their luggage they have compositions by George Gershwin, Eric Whitacre and music composed especially for APOLLO5, among others.
