"I am interested in the search for new experiences in the classical concert", Avi Avital once said in an interview. In his project "Sentieri" (Paths), the most famous mandolin virtuoso of our time joins forces with the cellist and composer Giovanni Sollima, the singer Alessia Tondo, one of the most important voices in Apulia, and the early music specialist Giuseppe Copia on theorbo and guitar. "Sentieri" is a joyful musical journey that playfully transcends stylistic and epochal boundaries and confronts different folkloristic and classical traditions. "In the end," says Avital, "a kind of labyrinth is reduced to a single great path that is shared and experienced together."
