With the Festivalcampus, the Heidelberger Frühling has been promoting young musicians for years, who present themselves to the public in various formations and formats. It is particularly rewarding when this leads to great careers - as in the case of Benjamin Günst and Robert Neumann. Both have now won prizes at the German Music Competition and stepped into the international limelight. Günst is also the winner of the 2026 German Business Music Prize. The artists document their organically grown relationship with Heidelberg as a duo with a programme full of discoveries: In addition to Schubert, they will perform works by the Jewish-Swiss-American composer Ernest Bloch, the Polish composer Grażyna Bacewicz from the post-war period and George Enescu, who created a monument to the authentic Romanian folk sound.
