Brahms.LAB VI: F(V)olk Sounds

Hungarian dances, Romanian folk melodies, ethnological musical journeys—many composers, including Johannes Brahms, sought inspiration in the folk cultures of Eastern Europe. The musicians of the Festivalcampus-Ensemble aim to bring these influences of fascinating traditional rhythms, sounds, and songs to life in classical works. In doing so, they enrich the collective work of art with the unique timbres of their respective home countries. A colorful and musical evening full of contrasts!
