Bundesjugendchor. Thiele. Benfer
Love and Life

Founded in 2021, the Bundesjugendchor has quickly developed into an ensemble of excellence that prepares around 50 carefully selected young singers for demanding programmes in intensive work phases. The touching and inspiring effect of the young choir's work was first experienced at the Heidelberger Frühling in 2024. Now it returns with a programme spanning around five centuries, sacred and secular. Hardly any other vocal ensemble sounds as luminous, pure and fresh as a meticulously rehearsing very young choir with its light yet focused voices. The concert evening culminates in a special program item: numerous singing pupils from Heidelberg join the Bundesjugendchor on stage to perform the pieces they had worked on together in a workshop in the morning.
