Debut Concert
Ginkgo Trio
C’est l’heure d’amour

With its unusual line-up of mezzo-soprano, violoncello and accordion, the Ginkgo Trio opens up a surprisingly rich world of sound. Liedakademie alumna Luzia Ernst and her long-time musician friends Eloy Medina and Daniel Roth give new life to songs - from baroque arias and art songs to tango, sound film operettas and chansons - with subtle arrangements and their very own interpretations. Their programme is dedicated to love in all its manifestations - across the centuries. The question of genre boundaries or the relationship between tradition and modernity has long since become superfluous for the trio. What remains is the love of song.
