Festival Finale
Fujita. Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen. Järvi
The Art of Filigree

Paavo Järvi has worked as artistic director with the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen since 2004. A soulful, dynamic, highly detailed musical style is the delightful result of this long-term relationship. With Mozart, Schubert and Mendelssohn, the final evening's repertoire forms the perfect transition from the Classical to the early Romantic period and also combines three of the most beautiful works of their kind. For the solo part in Mozart's second "Coronation Concerto", an internationally acclaimed young pianist returns to the festival, who has been regarded as a Mozart specialist at the latest since the complete recording of all piano sonatas by Sony in 2022: Mao Fujita.

12. 2. 2024   Podcast

Paavo Järvi sleeps and fasts before concerts. Nothing should detract from his concentration at the podium, he says in this episode. After the performance, when the adrenaline wears off, you're hungry and want to socialize. Preferably together with his longtime friends from the Kammerphilharmonie Bremen.
