The Fibonacci number sequence is something like a blueprint of nature - found in nautilus snails or sunflower blossoms. If there is such a secret formula for ideal chamber music ensemble playing, the Fibonacci Quartet has apparently found it. Founded in 2019 at the renowned Guildhall School in London, the four members are going from strength to strength. They have long since arrived in the Champions League of string quartets. They already wowed audiences at the Heidelberger Frühling Streichquartettfest in January 2026 and are now returning with a programme that traverses the core of the repertoire, from the founding father Haydn to the Romantic Schumann and the sound magician Debussy. There is also a contemporary work that has been specially written for them.
