Friday Afternoon
Workshop. Concert
Mozart. Bosmans. Beethoven

Joseph Haydn composed around 80 quartets and therefore just as many minuets. And no two are the same. The ideas he surprises us with are discovered here together with the ensembles and Oliver Wille. Haydn's Opus 33/1 will also be juxtaposed with more recent positions this morning: Hans Gál independently continued the Viennese tradition of Schubert and Brahms in his 1916 quartet, Amy Beach based her quartet movement on Inuit melodies and Bryce Dessner's "Le Bois" is based on the medieval "Sederunt principes" by Perotin.

Ticket is valid for Friday afternoon and entitles the holder to attend the workshop at 14:30 and the concert at 16:15.

Also bookable in the Streichquartettfest Pass or Streichquartettfest Pass Light.
