Hugo Ticciati and his ensemble are not satisfied with the living room. They also perform in the adjoining rooms of the Stadthalle concert hall. O/Modernt is comparable to a resource: A group of extremely flexible musicians with wide-ranging abilities - and an almost inexhaustible desire for new experiences, exciting detours and successful communication. The ensemble can be experienced here in variable miniature formations. The implicit message: the world of sound is full of surprises! The popular and the artistic, the sacred and the secular are not contradictory, everything is connected. It is only symptomatic that the selection of works in this portrait ranges from Thomas Tallis around 1550 to Luciano Berio in the late 20th century.

The concert is part of a temporary "Hausbesetzung": Hugo Ticciati and his highly acclaimed chamber orchestra O/Modernt are moving into the new Stadthalle concert hall in Heidelberg for three days. This residency comprises five very different formats with highly exciting soloists and is one of the ensemble's first major residencies outside Sweden.
