LAB of the Festivalcampus
I don't want to set the world on fire

The planet sounds feverish. On it, people sense dissonances between lifestyle, the climate crisis and the future. The Festivalcampus LAB project invites you to Metropolink's Commissary, an extraordinary place for urban art. The young artists are keen to explore the burning issues of our time in a laboratory-like way, shedding light on a little-noticed aspect of current discourses on the future: "ecological grief". Their production explores the state of mind of a generation facing frightening living conditions. In collaboration with director Lea Luka Sikau from the Junge Akademie and international climate scientists, they have created an immersive performance with sound and language.

After the concert, you will have the opportunity to talk to the artists about the evening's topic in smaller groups. This will provide you with both scientific and concert-related information and you can share your own experiences.
