Laetitia Grimaldi. Ammiel Bushakevitz

On the threshold of the 20th century, the symbolist poetry of Paul Verlaine, Charles Baudelaire and others struck a chord with the times. The highly artificial language of these poets was appreciated by the bourgeois elite in the fashionable Parisian salons as well as by musicians, who were inspired by it to write songs full of sonic sophistication. Laetitia Grimaldi and Ammiel Bushakevitz show in their song program that many women also confidently raised their voices in that "Belle Époque". Performing the music of French female composers is a project close to their hearts, which resulted in the recording of the album "Ombres", published in 2022.
