In the public master class, baritone Thomas Hampson works with the new 2023/24 scholarship recipients of the Liedakademie on musicality, technique, and expressiveness in the art song genre. The young singers and pianists have only recently passed the auditions for the Liedakademie’s prestigious, year-long support program and are performing in public for the first time here. The audience has the unique opportunity to get to know the next generation of art song performers and to observe Thomas Hampson—one of the greatest art song interpreters of our time—at work.

Admission is free for students, trainees and pupils.
