The last evening of the Streichquartettfest has already achieved almost cult status. Here, the audience does not sit in rows, but in a relaxed atmosphere together at tables with drinks and culinary snacks. All the festival quartets are involved in the Long Night, putting together a surprise program that celebrates the different varieties of the string quartet genre. The ensembles are invited to bring along pieces that are as exotic, surprising and perhaps even humorous as possible. If the cultural origin of the group is reflected in the piece – all the better. Allow yourself to get surprised!
