Music Day for All

Free admission - Pay what you like!
At the Music Day for All, people of all ages are invited to experience festival musicians in short concerts and to become artistically active themselves in guided workshops. Here we want to immerse ourselves in music together, let ourselves be enveloped by sounds or carried away by rhythms. In Michael Ende's Momo story, the old amphitheater offers a refuge from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and people forget the time while telling stories and playing games together. On Music Day, the Karlstorbahnhof with its atmospheric headquarters becomes this place. Community music programs for young people and adults complement children's workshops and cross-age activities. Special guests this year include members of the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen as well as Festivalcampus-Ensemble. Their "Music Swap Lab" participatory orchestra enables children to make music together using percussion, self-made instruments and movement. But those who simply enjoy listening can also look forward to some wonderful musical moments on this day. There are also games, a craft and reading corner and tasty treats from the Karlstorbahnhof kitchen.
