Music Prize of the German Economy
The Kulturkreis of German Economy has been supporting young, up-and-coming talents in classical music since 1953. The music prize is intended to serve as powerful support at the beginning of a music career and is aimed at outstanding instrumentalists and singers under the age of 30 who live in German-speaking countries and build bridges to the audience with an independent artistic voice. The Music Prize of German Economy, which will be reorganized in 2024, not only includes prize money of 15,000 €, but above all opportunities to perform at renowned partner festivals as part of the "Kulturkreis-Tournee". In addition to the Heidelberger Frühling, partner festivals include the Beethovenfest Bonn, the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the Ludwigsburger Schlossfestspiele, the Lucerne Festival and the Rheingau Musik Festival. At the competition final, the three finalists will have the opportunity to present themselves to both the jury and the wider festival audience. They will be accompanied by the Ensemble Resonanz.
Finalists and program will be announced at a later date.
