The offer is part of the Open Concert Hall discovery tour, in which the entire Stadthalle concert hall becomes a resonance chamber on the first Sunday of the festival from 10:00 to 17:00. Igor Levit and the Trinity Sinfonia, consisting of hand-picked soloists and chamber musicians under Fabian Müller, will really make the long-lost Stadthalle resonate. In between, they will swarm out into the many small halls and rooms of the Stadthalle to make music there - close and approachable - in smaller ensembles. While the main stage in the Wolfgang Marguerre Hall is used during the "odd" hours, the chamber music formations take over the hall shortly after the "even" hours. Three popular yet profound works from around 1800 form the backbone of the programme - all of them highlights that have had an impact far into the future and still amaze every time they are heard today. In between, the music is colorful, virtuosic and amusing. Of course, there will also be plenty to eat and drink.
