Concentrated power on four cellos – the Schlierbach district association invites you to this musical happening with a takeaway buffet in the Schlierbachhalle, gymnasium and proven district concert hall with a panoramic view over the Neckar.
The cello's wide range of sounds has inspired many musicians to create new works and projects. Festivalcampus cellist Joe Pritchard has also arranged pieces for cello ensemble, some of which he is now bringing to Schlierbach with his fellow players.
Young and old are invited to experience the varied programme and actively participate in deciding what is to be heard. With improvisations, own arrangements, pieces from the entire history of music, stories and animal companions, there is certainly a lot on offer. Double bassist Hans Greve moderates the concert and adds a few low notes to the sound spectrum. In between, there will be a shared meal.
All interested parties are invited by the Schlierbach district association to vote on which well-known songs and pieces should be played at the concert! Click here to vote
Bring your own treats for the cake buffet!
Free admission – donations are welcome
