There is a song in all things... Songs in various shapes and colors are and have been an integral part of people's lives at all times and in different places. Whether to fall asleep, to celebrate, as a prayer or as a source of strength; the song can be found everywhere.

In and around the re:start concert in the Christuskirche, young musicians from the Heidelberg University of Church Music and the Karlsruhe University of Music will bring this diversity to life with choral music. Other artists from the Liedfestival will also be taking part. People from the Weststadt district and from all over Heidelberg, the curious and festival audiences are invited to experience this fresh look at song repertoire - and perhaps even join in with a note or two.
