Lunchtime Concert in the Old Town

Free Admission

A brief immersion in music as a break from everyday life. Lunchtime concerts with young musicians are a Heidelberger Frühling Musikfestival tradition. This year, members of the Festivalcampus-Ensemble invite you to enjoy music for free in the time-honored hall of the Old University.

The programme includes works by Franz Schubert, Claude Debussy, Toru Takemitsu and Maurice Ravel, which Spanish pianist Gorka Plada has selected from the musical world of Impressionism and Romanticism in keeping with the festival motto and which, for him, set to music the feeling of wandering and searching, suspended in time.

Duration 45 minutes

Free admission – donations are welcome
