meets Heidelberger Melange

Free Admission

The "Heidelberger Melange - Open Stage for Classical Music and more" regularly brings together young and experienced talents, instrumentalists and singers from Heidelberg. Initiated and organized by the singer Clarissa Lena Müller, the CHAPEL is the perfect place to listen to the musicians while enjoying a sumptuous cake buffet and a good atmosphere. 2025, Heidelberger Melange and the re:start in a joint event. The festival motto takes center stage: What does "Liberated Time" sound like to us - and how can we experience it together with the audience?
Willard Carter, cellist of the Festivalcampus-Ensemble, has put together a special half of the concert with pieces of music through which he would like to convey the feeling of "Liberated Time" in a very personal way, with various small musical treasures from John Dowland, Henry Purcell, Zoltán Kodaly and Joseph Haydn to his own improvisations.
