re:start

The Saturday market on Wilhelmsplatz in Heidelberg's Weststadt district is spontaneously transformed into a concert stage: American singer-songwriter Bryan Benner, who is based in Vienna, presents his new interpretations of classical songs. Inspired by masters such as Schubert and Schumann, he combines the tradition of song with modern acoustic sounds - open, creative and contemporary.
Since 2012, the market has been organized on a voluntary basis by the Initiative Heidelberg für Kunst, Kultur und Genuss e.V. and offers not only culinary delights, arts and crafts, flea market stalls and live music at the foot of St. Boniface's Church, but above all a place for the city's population to come together.
A musical experience for everyone who wants to visit the market, stroll around or simply enjoy a sunny midday.
Admission free - donations are welcome.
