Richard Galliano. Paolo Fresu. Jan Lundgren
Mare Nostrum

"Mare Nostrum" - that's what the ancient Romans called the Mediterranean. And the interplay between the French accordionist Richard Galliano, the Italian trumpeter Paolo Fresu and the Swedish pianist Jan Lundgren reflects the cultural diversity of this region. This world-class trio has been playing together for 20 years now and inspires with a unique sound that is characterized by charming melodies and allows the instruments to merge. All three also bring in sounds from their respective home countries and incorporate elements of classical music, folk music and jazz. The result is music that you can immerse yourself in and lose yourself in.
