Roman Borisov. Festivalcampus

Pianist Roman Borisov, an outstanding young talent, will be a guest at the Festivalcampus. He was the youngest participant to win the first prize of the Kissinger KlavierOlymp in October 2022 and, at the age of 23, has already enjoyed a stellar career. Together with esteemed returning as well as new musicians from the Festivalcampus, he creates a programme of timeless topicality. Two works by artists working in subtle resistance against the Stalin regime, composed before and after the Second World War, form the framework. They tell of oppression, danger and threat. Brahms' and Mendelssohn's works contain beauty and consolation.
