Starting May 15, the Heidelberger Frühling’s green piano will be on display at the International Comprehensive School in Heidelberg. Until the end of the school year, it invites all students to make music spontaneously. On June 14, pianist Daniel Arkadij Gerzenberg and soprano Sophia Burgos will present excerpts from their programme“Encantamiento”—featuring, among other pieces, Puerto Rican folk songs—with which they will perform the following day at the Heidelberger Frühling Liedfestival. Before the performance, students will have the opportunity to chat with the two musicians.

The“Community Piano”was initiated by Sara Werneke, a volunteer doing a year of voluntary social service in the cultural sector at Heidelberger Frühling.

The event is open to the public and attendance is free of charge.
