Stegreif Orchester
Escape Valse. A Danced Concert

One of the most creative young ensembles on the German music scene, which is not only committed to the renewal of classical music, but also practices it in a thoroughly experimental way. Earlier productions were called "Free Brahms" or "Free Beethoven", in which the 20-strong ensemble explored some of the most famous symphonic movements in literature in a free, associatively spun and at the same time musically gripping way. Now Maurice Ravel's "La Valse", the ecstatic, apocalyptic musical swan song to the "world of yesterday", serves as a template for a dance performance in which musicians and dancers follow a common choreography. One of the most exciting scenic projects of the festival year!
