Thibaut Garcia. Félicien Brut
Absolute Devotion

It is said that they met by chance, the accordionist from Clermont-Ferrand in Auvergne and the guitarist from Toulouse, who was a few years younger. Two of the most spectacular masters of their instruments have found each other, whose musical combination opens up immense musical continents between South America and Europe, early classical music and impressionism, popular musette and Argentinian tango nuevo. As only the very best musicians can do, the two create completely unmistakable worlds of sound that make questions about the style, era or cultural origin of the pieces seem irrelevant. And yet the mixture is typically French! The almost telepathic duo is carried by absolute devotion to the music, rhythmic bounce, stupendous virtuosity and a finely vibrating breath that enchants with a delicate poetry all of its own, especially in lyrical movements.
