With their fresh approach to the great masterpieces of the string quartet literature, the four musicians have long since played their way to the top internationally. But their "vision" also includes broadening their stylistic horizons and integrating arrangements from pop and jazz to their own pieces into her programmes. Shostakovich's eighth quartet, in which the composer quotes himself with the motto derived from the first letters of his first name and surname, can be heard in harmony with the quartet's own compositions from the album "Spectrum".
