Kammermusik Plus | Carolin Widmann & Alexander Lonquich
19:30
There is ample evidence in the history of music that family ties can lead to extremely successful musical creation. And even nowadays, great creative moments emerge from them. The internationally renowned violinist Carolin Widmann played the world premiere of her brother Jörg Widmann's violin concerto. Also her long-time duo partner, the award-winning pianist Alexander Lonquich comes from a family of musicians. In this concert, the two artists will jointly present a work by his father, the church musician Heinz Martin Lonquich, who in turn was a student of the great Bernd Alois Zimmermann.
This Kammermusik Plus concert will also take place as part of the Heidelberger Frühling 2022.
