Pahud. Ottensamer. Kammerakademie Potsdam.

Sat 23. 4. 2022
19:30

A whole series of musical treasures will be unearthed in the concert of the two virtuosos and soloists of the Berliner Philharmoniker Emmanuel Pahud and Andreas Ottensamer with the Kammerakademie Potsdam. First of all, there is the witty and effective concert piece for flute, clarinet and orchestra, which Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy composed for two musician friends as a counter-offering for Dampfnudeln and Rahmstrudel. The Tarantelle by the young Camille Saint-Saëns is equally playful. The Kammerakademie Potsdam also contributes symphonies by the forgotten Mannheim pre-classicist Ernst Eichner and Étienne-Nicolas Méhul, who was appreciated by Beethoven.
