Multi-percussionist Alexej Gerassimez and the SIGNUM saxophone quartet take off on a joint mission and conquer new worlds of sound in their program »Starry Night«. On their flight, the extraordinary crew encounters, among others, the »Planeten« by Gustav Holst, space film music by John Williams and a rock classic by AC/DC. New compositions are also included. But, Gerassimez says, there's another dimension: »Actually, it's not about stars, it's about people - what we dream, what we long for, what we're afraid of. And the starry sky is just the projection of that.«
