Apollon Musagète Quartett
19:30
The world-famous Apollon Musagète Quartet combines the lyrical, melodious E-flat major string quartet of the only 16-year-old Franz Schubert with the spirited expressivity in Antonín Dvořák's masterly, sovereign ninth work in this chamber music supreme discipline. In between, the four Polish musicians present the folkloristically influenced second quartet of their particularly esteemed compatriot Karol Szymanowski, in which the latter explored new means of sound design and harmony in 1927.
