Danish String Quartet & friends

Mon 4. 4. 2022
19:30

With their tonally balanced, joyfully energetic playing, the musicians of the Danish String Quartet have established themselves as the most important Scandinavian chamber music formation, as they prove in the three divertimenti by the young Benjamin Britten, which fluctuate between ostensible seriousness and exuberance. Then they take on board three wind friends and double bassist Dominik Wagner to set off together for Mozart's enchanting Clarinet Quintet and Franz Schubert's Octet, which was to pave the way for the latter's great symphony.
