The universe is huge and everything is in constant motion. When looking at the starry sky at night, children ask philosophical questions that adults often no longer even think of: Where do the stars go? Why? What's behind the universe? And what does "infinite" mean? At the Welt_Raum_Klange holiday workshop in the Haus der Astronomie Heidelberg, children between the ages of 8 and 12 have the unique opportunity to take a journey through space and time together with scientists and professional musicians. In four consecutive half-day workshops they explore the movements of celestial bodies in the footsteps of naturalists and philosophers and develop their own sound improvisations together with the Porter percussion duo with Jessica and Vanessa Porter.
At the end of our musical-astronomical expedition, we will show parents and friends in a colorful workshop concert what we have discovered and tried out together.

The ticket for the entire holiday workshop per participant including the final concert costs 25 €.

For your child's journey to the House of Astronomy, we offer support if required (accompanied bus ride from the city center).

Our workshop specifically addresses the group of registered children. We will contact you after the ticket purchase to discuss further details. Thanks! The contact person for queries is Franziska Spohr franziska.spohr@heidelberg.de

Please check the current Corona regulations and our hygiene rules before attending the concert.
