Johann Sebastian Bach is the constant focal point of the »Standpunkte« around the theme »Entgrenzung«: The composer Lisa Streich, who has won numerous prizes, will compose a new work for the Klangforum Heidelberg, whose instrumentation is based on Bach's cantata BWV 103 »Ihr werdet weinen und heulen« from 1725. It will be fascinating to see how the young Swedish composer will take up the spiritual content of the cantata on Jubilate Sunday - the change from deep sorrow to confidence and joy.

The concert will be recorded by SWR2 and broadcasted on June 13th as "SWR2-Abendkonzert".
A composition commissioned by the »BIENNALE für Neue Musik der Metropolregion Rhein-Neckar«, sponsored by the »Ernst von Siemens Musikstiftung«. In cooperation with ricordilab (Ricordi Berlin) and KlangForum Heidelberg.
