The introductory talk "Notenschlüssel" takes place one hour before the concert begins, providing further perspectives and background information on the programme.
After the concert, the Artist Talk will reflect on the music and the experience. In an approachable setting, the audience learns exciting facts about the artists' careers and their individual approach to the works from the artists themselves.
In two Zeit-Raum Lounges, various experts will discuss the Heidelberger Frühling Musikfestival 2025 motto "Liberated Time" from a philosophical and musicological perspective and talk about current social developments.
Two Musical Sundays are held in cooperation with the DAI Heidelberg. With many audio examples, two music enthusiasts, writer and musicologist Marcus Imbsweiler and violinist and conductor Timo Jouko Herrmann, immerse themselves in special works that can be heard at the Musikfestival.
A highlight of the Heidelberger Frühling Streichquartettfest is the conversation with the great composer of our time Helmut Lachenmann, to whom the festival edition 2025 is dedicated on the occasion of his 90th birthday year.
