Artist and Introduction Talks

Experience artists, composers and experts in conversation and gain in-depth insights into the programmes - various formats around the Heidelberger Frühling Musikfestival invite you to do just that

The introductory talk " Notenschlüssel " takes place one hour before the concert begins, providing further perspectives and background information on the programme.

After the concert, the artist talk will reflect on the music and the experience. In an approachable setting, the audience learns exciting facts about the artists' careers and their individual approach to the works from the artists themselves.

In two time-space lounges, various experts discussed the motto of the Heidelberger Frühling Musikfestival 2025 "Liberated Time" from a philosophical and musicological perspective and talked about current social developments.

Two Musical Sundays were held in cooperation with the DAI Heidelberg. Two music enthusiasts, writer and musicologist Marcus Imbsweiler and violinist and conductor Timo Jouko Herrmann, immersed themselves in special works that could be heard at Musikfestival.

A highlight of the Heidelberger Frühling Streichquartettfest was the conversation with the great composer of our time Helmut Lachenmann, to whom the Festival Edition 2025 was dedicated on the occasion of his 90th birthday.
