A performance about human striving, searching and longing

Wanting to be free, for your own art? This artistic ideal is explored by young people together with the pianist and concert designer Hanni Liang in the project "Freisam".

The result is a performance of music, text, movement and light that traces a diverse society and will be performed as part of the 2024 Musikfestival.

With Hanni Liang (piano and conception), Nelly Sautter (direction), Classic Scouts of Heidelberger Frühling and all interested young people.

Project Dates:
Kick-off meeting: October 13, 2023, 4-8 p.m.
Further project dates: between October and April by arrangement (approx. once a month)
Performances as part of the Heidelberger Frühling Musikfestival: April 12 and 13, 2024

Registration:
Teens 14 and older and young adults are invited to attend free of charge. No previous musical experience required. Registration is open now through September 30 at f.spohr@heidelberger-fruehling.de or by calling 01520 9338 176.

All those interested in "Freisam" are also cordially invited to attend the meetings of the Classic Scouts without obligation. Starting in October, the Heidelberger Frühling youth group will be working here on further activities related to the 2024 Music Festival.
