Abel Selaocoe. Manchester Collective
Sirocco

Abel

South African cellist Abel Selaocoe captivates audiences with a unique combination of virtuoso cello playing, free improvisation, African singing and body percussion. In the program "Sirocco", together with musicians from the Manchester Collective, he ignites a musical storm that crosses borders and celebrates the diversity of cultural traditions: from Western classical music to African original music and Danish folk songs. Music by people, for people.

The concert is part of the focus point "Transcultural and Intercultural Programme" and of the International Weeks Against Racism by Interkulturelles Zentrum Heidelberg.
