Comparison of interpretation: Workshop with Oliver Wille

Half day ticket 14-18 h incl. Concert with Leonkoro Quartett & Marmen Quartet at 3:30 pm.

One work, countless ways of performing – because each quartet has its own peculiarities. This is reflected in an ideally distinctive sound, but also in the way the musical text is handled. How to interpret it? How do four people develop their own reading and individual design ideas? Two interpretative approaches to Mozart's "3rd Haydn Quartet" KV 428 will be compared in this workshop: Those of the historically informed Consone Quartet and the Armida Quartet, who have recorded the entire Mozart for string quartet in years of intensive study. In the concert that follows, a third interpretation can be heard from the Marmen Quartet.
