Inviting the next generation of artists to experiment and let them grow in creative safe spaces: this has always been one of the main concerns of the Heidelberger Frühling.

The Musikfestival is now giving even more curatorial responsibility to the Festivalcampus-Ensemble, which was launched in 2023. What is the concert today – and what can it be? Supported by highly qualified coaches, the young musicians will design their own programs for the Musikfestival. The point of reference for the lab project is Johannes Brahms. The creative venue of the festival, Dezernat 16, will become the hub, where the Festivalcampus-Ensemble can be observed at work in the Brahms.LAB and will present itself with several concert formats.

In addition, its path will once again lead to the districts of Heidelberg for re:start concerts with free admission.

The dates of the re:start concerts in the Heidelberg districts with free admission will be published on the website in early 2024.
